Old Woman

Old Woman

I started art therapy and about 2-3 sessions later I started painting portraits.

This one came out literally perfect.

She seems to be an European or Russian woman, delicate and with a pleasurable sight.

I love how I was able to do it, perhaps.

Other portraits I didn’t even came close to this masterpiece.

In the art therapy we talk how much important it is to embrace, sia the good ones sia the bad ones. I would love to continue, but there are other social implications to my relationship with the therapist - I’m so done with the place I live, everybody talk about my life. I don’t even know what they are able to do in order to trip a little more on my fame and my name.

But this… It’s just perfect and round with its geometric background.

On the back she has a sun that is also a tunnel that inspires me that outside of the tunnel is inside of myself.

I think of the Middle East costume of Islamic woman to wear Hijab. I think that is too much for personal identification on certain cases. But, the grace of using a Burca with the face exposed is here in the painting.

I just love how the woman sounds with the burca, in a delicate way.

Yes, it is inside of myself, but is also inside of my partner.

I will try to paint an Old Man in the future complementing this piece.
