Harlequin
Catch everything with the Hands,
but only one with the Heart
Pathétique is what we think of a clown. But I reflect different on a harlequin.
The figure of the harlequin is folklore. That of the clown is mediatic. You can search on this if you would like.
The cynicism in the clown, it’s awful jokes with all the media charge he come with, the stigma… There ain’t nothing of that in the harlequin.
For me, asides my research, the harlequin is a vivid metaphor to embrace life vividly. To don’t die on the little things. To don’t be ashamed, to don’t lose on the same things the clown evoke - the Pathétique.
It’s like a counterpoint! And it do withstand good to our children up to the old age. It’s a Prophétique to the fortuned ones, not a Pathétique to the disgraced.
